François Zayas

We only wish he had six more arms. Then we would have a François-ctopus.

François Zayas is a composer, arranger, and percussionist. Born in Cuba, Zayas graduated from the Instituto Superior de Artes (ISA) in 1998. He taught there both as a student and following graduation, for a total of four years. He was a member of the National Symphonic Orchestra of Cuba for ten years and during this time he also performed with numerous bands of diverse genres. Between 1994 and relocating to the U.S. in 2006, he completed several international tours with different groups.
